Out Of The Matrix, Into The Bonkers Pavilion

What happens when you accidentally drop a poster about a urotherapy workshop into a sleepy village WhatsApp group?

If you’re me—Claire—you get a couple of face-palm emojis, a polite “No thank you,” and the unmistakable sound of silence... the kind that says: Who let the weirdo in?

At first, I flushed with embarrassment. But then I realized: this “mistake” wasn’t a mistake. It was a soul sneeze. A sacred slip. A glimpse of who I really am, accidentally revealed to people who weren’t ready—or maybe I wasn’t ready to be seen in that way. But it happened anyway. And it was perfect.

Because I’m no longer interested in hiding. I’m here to fully inhabit my Bonkers Pavilion—that uniquely weird, wonderful, multidimensional space that is me.

In a world that constantly pushes us to conform, filter ourselves, and present only the most palatable version of who we are, there's revolutionary power in simply being ourselves—weird edges, bonkers pavilions, and all. This authenticity isn't just personally liberating; it's a cosmic act of rebellion against the systems designed to keep us small.

So, yes. I recently experienced this firsthand when I accidentally dropped a poster for a urotherapy workshop I was go-leading with a friend into the wrong village WhatsApp group—a community more accustomed to yard sale notices than spiritual exploration. The responses ranged from facepalm emojis to "Excuse me, who are you?" followed by a deafening digital silence. My initial embarrassment quickly gave way to laughter as I recognized this "misstep" as what the French call an "acte manqué"—an unconscious desire revealing itself. Part of me wanted to be seen fully, without apology, even by those who might not understand.

The truth is, many of us spend our lives performing rather than being—curating our expressions, dimming our light, or hiding our more unconventional aspects to fit in. Yet what if these very aspects—the ones society has taught us to suppress—are actually our greatest gifts? What if your weirdness isn't your flaw but your frequency? What if the version of you that you've been taught to hide is actually carrying the keys to your freedom?

Astrology offers fascinating insight into this journey through the lunar nodes—points in your birth chart that represent your soul's evolutionary path. The South Node shows where you've been and what comes naturally, while the North Node reveals where your soul is growing toward. Understanding this cosmic compass can bring clarity when you feel lost or confused about your direction in life.

My own nodes—South Node in Leo in the third house, North Node in Aquarius in the ninth house—illuminated my life's trajectory in ways that finally made sense of choices that once seemed inexplicable. My transition from professional actor (Leo's creative expression, third house communication) to metaphysical teacher broadcasting cosmic truths (Aquarius's visionary rebellion, ninth house expansion) wasn't giving up but stepping into alignment with my soul's intention.

The current astrological climate strongly supports this collective shift toward authenticity. Pluto in Aquarius is shattering outdated paradigms, while the Aries North Node pushes us toward fierce individuality and inner leadership. Meanwhile, Chiron in Aries highlights the pain of not being ourselves fully—and offers healing through radical self-acceptance. All these forces point to the same theme: it's time to reclaim our authority and exit the matrix.

This matrix isn't just metaphorical. It's the invisible system of control that has shaped us from birth, designed to suppress our natural capacities through engineered distractions, curated beliefs, and inputs that numb us to our own divinity. But the veil is lifting. More of us are waking up to the truth that we are sovereign beings capable of direct knowing and self-healing.

Breaking free doesn't require fighting the system—it happens naturally when we become so authentically ourselves that the matrix can no longer hold us. This isn't about aggressively pushing your truth onto others; it's about knowing who you are and being completely at peace with that, even under the uncomfortable gaze of those who don't understand.

When we let ourselves be seen in our strangeness, tenderness, and truth, we become beacons for others, permission slips for them to drop their own masks. Our essence becomes our medicine—not always polished, but real. And in a world starved for authenticity, that realness creates ripples far beyond what we can see.

So I invite you to ask yourself: What version of myself am I finally ready to release? What soul truth have I been afraid to say out loud? Where does my weirdness actually hold the seeds of my medicine? What would it look like to live from essence, not performance?

Your bonkers pavilion—whatever that means for you—is a portal to freedom. Build it. Hang the fairy lights. Let your soul music play. And remember that each step toward authentic self-expression is also a step toward collective liberation, shifting us from programmed to present, from fear to freedom.

Astrology isn’t about prediction—it’s about permission.

And in this moment, when Pluto is transiting Aquarius, the North Node is in Aries, and Chiron is amplifying our inner wounds of self-denial—we’re all being asked the same thing:

Will you keep performing who they told you to be?
Or will you return to the essence of who you truly are?

The Bonkers Pavilion is not the fringe festival. It’s the main stage now.

Step away from the script. Hang the fairy lights. Be your frequency.
